Same-Day German Implant in Cyprus: What the €550 Starting Price Includes
What the Same-Day German Implant package from €550 covers, how immediate loading works and who qualifies, the 48-hour zirconia crown workflow, and what could cost extra after your 3D scan.
A single missing or failing tooth is one of the most common reasons people travel from the UK to North Cyprus for treatment. The Same-Day German Implant package at Cyprus Dental in Kyrenia starts from €550 per implant, and in suitable cases the whole process — extraction, implant placement and a permanent crown — is completed within 48 hours. Here is exactly what that price includes, who qualifies for the same-day approach, and what could cost extra.
What the €550 starting price includes
The package has five published features, and each one matters in practice:
- A German implant system, with the brand and lot number recorded. The exact implant placed in your jaw is documented — useful for any dentist who treats you at home in future.
- Extraction and implant in the same session. A failing tooth can be removed and replaced in one appointment, so you heal once rather than twice.
- A permanent zirconia crown within 48 hours in suitable cases — a final restoration, not a temporary you wear home.
- A digital 3D workflow. The implant position is planned on a 3D scan before surgery begins, not improvised on the day.
- Airport & hotel transfers arranged for you — free on Hollywood Smile and All-on-4/6 packages, and available for a small extra charge on single-implant trips.
€550 is a starting price. After your 3D scan you receive a fixed written quote, and that quote does not change afterwards.
Immediate loading: who qualifies, and who does not
"Same day" describes an immediate-loading protocol: a crown is fitted onto the implant quickly, instead of leaving the implant buried under the gum for months. For that to be safe, the implant must be very firm in good-quality bone at placement, and your bite must not overload it while it heals.
Not everyone meets those conditions, and we will not pretend otherwise. Where bone quality or the bite does not allow it, the classic staged protocol applies: the implant goes in first, the bone heals for around three to six months, and the final crown is fitted on a later visit. It is a slower route to the same destination, and for a meaningful share of patients it is the honest recommendation. Our guide to what "same-day teeth" really means covers the difference in detail.
How the crown is ready within 48 hours
Where the same-day route is suitable, the 48-hour timeline is possible because the workflow is digital from start to finish. Your mouth is scanned in 3D, the crown is designed on screen and milled from a solid block of zirconia, then adjusted and fitted — a digital route that avoids the posted impressions and long laboratory turnaround of the traditional approach. Zirconia is a hard, tooth-coloured ceramic chosen for its strength, which is why it can serve as the final crown rather than a stopgap.
How the price compares
A comparable single implant costs around €1,800 in Limassol, in the south of the island, and typically £2,000–£2,500 including the crown in the UK. Our prices are set in euros; figures in pounds are indicative. The gap is wide enough that treatment often still costs less once flights and accommodation are added, and the transfer is arranged for you — a small extra charge on single-implant trips, free on the larger packages. A full breakdown is on our prices page.
One honest note alongside the savings: Cyprus Dental is a private clinic under North Cyprus dental regulations — not an NHS provider, and not registered with the UK GDC or CQC, so UK complaint routes do not apply. We set this out plainly on our important information page.
What could cost extra, and why
The package covers a straightforward single-implant case. Some needs only become clear once the 3D scan is done, and these are quoted separately:
- Bone grafting, where there is not enough bone volume to hold the implant.
- A sinus lift, for upper back teeth sitting close to the sinus floor.
- Extractions beyond the package, if more teeth need removing than the plan covers.
- Sedation, if you would prefer it for the surgery.
None of these are added after the fact: they appear on the fixed written quote after your scan, or not at all.
Cyprus Dental has treated patients in Kyrenia since 2007 and holds a 4.9-star Google rating across 324 reviews. If you are considering a single implant, request a free quote — after a 3D scan we will tell you honestly whether the same-day protocol suits you, or whether the staged route is the safer choice.
